MY PUBLIC APOLOGY TO MARK ROWE
DEAR MARK ROWE,
Mark Rowe ~ CEO & FOUNDER OF SOUL CENTRAL MAGAZINE
I'm honestly not really sure where to begin with my apology, however however I do know that one is definitely owed. In April of 2019, I was asked to work the Soul Central magazine awards. At the time I was homeless. Nick Payne was the one who reached out to offer the job. I knew I would need to get my hair nails done and buy a dress for the event, so I took what I had left bought a nice dress at the Goodwill and managed to get my nails done at least. I needed to attend this event just to make more money to survive.
Unfortunately for reasons I will not disclose here, they were unable to pay some of the working staff. This obviously crushed me, considering I had to foot some of the money to even attend the event. I did in fact speak with Mr. Rowe, and with deep apologies he was very remorseful. As a form of payment Mark said he would publish two articles on my behalf, one for my good friend Trinity Star, and one on me. It took several months before Mark was able to tell me that he had finally published The articles. I was ecstatic! I ask Mark for the links to the publication, he said he was busy at the moment and that I could look him up. So I went to Google, and searched for the articles, and I could not find them at all! I looked for a couple weeks, before reaching out to another magazine owner. Mr. Robert Cobb of "Inscriber Digital Magazine." I asked Robert if I was somehow not properly searching for these articles, and asked if he could look and see if they were in fact published? I felt that he would know best how to look them up, or find out whether or not these articles had been published at all? In no time at all, Robert Cobb responded to my message, replying that Mark had NOT published either one of the articles.
SCREENSHOT PROOF
I'm honestly not sure the duress that Mr. Rowe was under at all. In hindsight, asking Robert Cobb was probably not a good idea. I never gave thought to the fact that he may be a competitor to Soul Central Magazine. I also found out that Mr. Cobb had allterior motives.
This last week I was going through some stuff on the internet, and I managed to come across the articles that Mark Rowe said he had in fact published on my behalf. When I found both magazines, and both articles, I felt like the biggest fool on the face of the planet! Mark had in fact kept his promise and delivered on both articles. I knew I owed him a huge and immediate apology, a public one at best.
Moral Of This Story
Good people do still exist, and mistakes do happen. I was personally discovered by a scam artist,. and have dealt with a ton of shady people in the entertainment industry. Although I felt I did all my research in an attempt to find said articles. I still jumped the gun and I publicly blasted a good man. It is with my sincerest of apologies that I pray you forgive me?
